Transactional Risk Insurance (also known as M&A Insurance) has become firmly established as a risk management tool for both financial investors and corporates undertaking M&A transactions.  Deal parties and their advisers are increasingly aware of the versatility of the product to structure transactions and mitigate the associated financial risks.

Our International Transactional Risk Insurance (TRI) Team has been providing innovative and bespoke insurance solutions for transactional risks since 2013, providing policies for almost 1,000 transactions to date.  While our main focus is providing warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurance and contingent risk insurance (including tax) for European and UK transactions, we also have extensive experience of transactions in other jurisdictions.  

ANV Specialty underwrites TRI on behalf of a panel of insurers from the Lloyd’s market together with company market capacity from the AmTrust Group.

  ​Dedicated SME offering for smaller deals up to EUR 50m, with minimum premiums as low as EUR 30k.
